Lawsuit claims masturbating manager showed penis selfie to female employee

A woman working at the Raven Crest Mine in West Virginia has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against, Xinergy of West Virginia Inc., the company that operates the mine.

Janet Williams, who worked at the Raven Crest Mine as an office secretary, claims that her boss subjected her to a sexually hostile work environment that included unwelcome sexual advances and requests for sexual favors.

According to Williams, Jack Hagewood sexually harassed at least four female employees. Hagewood allegedly masturbated in front of Williams numerous times and asked her to show him her breasts.

Jack Hagewood also allegedly masturbated in front of a female company security guard at least twice. The security guard complained to a supervisor, Jack Easter, but Easter allegedly responded by laughing and telling her that Hagewood was “harmless.” The security guard complained to Easter after second allegedly masturbation incident but Easter allegedly ignored her complaint.

A female secretary claims that Hagewood showed her a photo of his penis. She alleges that she complained about the incident but that manager Gregory Mason did not take any disciplinary action against Hagewood.

According to the lawsuit complaint, Hagewood stuck his hand down another female security guard’s shirt and grabbed her breast. Hagewood also allegedly asked her if her breasts were real and asked her to send him photos of her.

This is a report on a civil lawsuit filed at the U.S. District Court. The details in this report come from an original complaint filed by a plaintiff. Please note that a complaint represents an accusation by a private individual, not the government. It is not an indication of guilt, and it represents only one side of the story.
