NJ high school employee adds retaliation charge to her sexual harassment lawsuit

Roxanne Garrett, an attendance clerk at Woodrow Wilson High School in New Jersey who is suing the Camden School District for sexual harassment, has added a retaliation claim to her lawsuit.

Garrett alleges that she was subjected to a hostile work environment by former Principal Tyrone Richards.  Richards allegedly tried to pressure Garrett into having sex with him as a condition of employment.

In the new retaliation charge, Garrett claims that she was removed from her position when she returned from leave on June 7.  According to the complaint, “Aside from stripping plaintiff of her duties as attendance clerk, plaintiff was physically relocated from her professional office setting at Woodrow Wilson High School to a trailer at Pyne Poynt” Middle School.
