Ripley fire chief suspended for sexual harassment

Felix Moore, the chief of the Ripley Fire Department, has been suspended for two weeks for being accused of sexual harassment by a female firefighter.

The attorney who investigated the sexual harassment allegations found that Ripley sent some sexually inappropriate text messages and made inappropriate phone calls to the employee during the past eight months.

According to the attorney, Ripley told him that it was probable that he behaved in an inappropriate manner.
