Former Tres Amigos taco shop employees file sexual harassment lawsuit

The Tres Amigos taco shop, which closed in December 2012, is being sued for sexual harassment by two former female employees.

The employees, Reynabe Mercado and Luz Maria Torrez, claim that they were subjected to a hostile work environment by the San Mateo, California restaurant’s owners, Adrian Valle, Salvador Valle and Pilar Contreras, who allegedly encouraged the sexual harassment.

Mercado and Torrez allege that they were sexually harassed during a four year period by seven male employees: Gabriel Chaidez, Javier Rodriguez, Almiku Lnu, Ricardo Chaidez, Antemio Ramirez, Jose Fonseca and Adrian Fonseca.

The women claim their male coworkers subjected them to pornographic images and cartoons, touched them inappropriately, and asked them to simulate sex acts with a hose.
