Alleged hostile work environment leads to resignation of 2 Norwich Ice Rink employees

Two employees have resigned their positions with the Norwich Ice Rink because of an alleged hostile work environment.

The two employees who resigned are Ashley Smith, director of the Learn to Skate program, and Matthew Koehler, an employee in the ice rink’s box office.

Koehler and Hockey Director John Healy also submitted complaints that they were subjected to sexual harassment by ice rink authority member Stephanie Davis.  Both men claim that Davis touched them on the shoulder in an inappropriate manner.

Davis has denied the sexual harassment allegations.
