Former Bonner County 911 Center dispatcher Kellie Brownell and current senior dispatcher Diana Elsfelder have filed hostile work environment claims against the county.
Brownell claims that she complained about the hostile work environment to county Commissioner Mike Nielsen in October. Brownell alleges that the work environment deteriorated even more after her meeting with Nielsen.
Brownell claims that she was eventually forced to quit because of the worsening work environment and conditions.
The two women, who claim the hostile work environment has led to a 47% employee turnover rate at the Bonner County 911 Center during the past four years, are each seeking $250,000 in damages.
