A judge has overturned the “Price is Right” pregnancy discrimination lawsuit $8.5 million jury verdict.
The jury had awarded $8.5 million to former “Price is Right” model Brandi Cochran after finding that the game show’s producers subjected Cochran to pregnancy discrimination.
The judge ruled that a new trial is necessary because he did not give the jury proper instructions at the time.
Cochran claimed that producers at the Price is Right fired her in 2010 because she became pregnant. Cochran had been a model on the Price is Right for eight years.
