Riverside County to pay $490,000 to settle sexual harassment lawsuit

California’s Riverside County has agreed to pay $490,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit that was filed by Pamela Luna, a ¬†former interim administrator at First 5 Riverside.

Luna claims that she was sexually harassed by Dr. Eric Frykman, who served as Riverside County’s public health officer and Community Health Agency director until his resignation in September 2011.

According to Luna’s attorney, Frykman sublected Luna to a sexually hostile work environment that where he allegedly verbally harassed Luna, “repeatedly and openly ogled her, and touched her without her consent.”
