Kelle Azzopardi, a former executive assistant at Giorgio Armani Corp., has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Armani.
Azzopardi claims that she was sexually harassed by her female boss, Laura Giulini, who was a former senior vice president for wholesale apparel at Giorgio Armani Corp.
According to the complaint, Giulini called Azzopardi to her office at Armani’s Fifth Avenue, New York location, closed the door, and “then proceeded to take off her pants and expose herself.”
Azzopardi claims that she complained several times to the Armani human resources department about the alleged sexually hostile work environment. According to Azzopardi, the HR department did not act to stop the sexual harassment.
Instead, Azzopardi claims that she was fired in retaliation for complaining about the sexual harassment.
