Gaston County paramedic files sexual harassment lawsuit

A former Gaston County paramedic has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the North Carolina county.

Abigail Wilson claims that she was subjected to sexual harassment by a coworker who allegedly groped Wilson and sent her sexually inappropriate text messages and nude photos of himself.

Wilson claims that her superiors did not take enough action to stop the alleged sexual harassment. After moving her to a different shift, Wilson claims that she was still harassed by the same coworker.

Wilson was terminated after requesting medical leave, which was allegedly originally granted, to undergo surgery to treat the breast cancer that she had been diagnosed with.
