City Coffee $75K sexual harassment settlement upheld by appellate panel

An appellate panel has upheld a $75,000 settlement in a sexual harassment lawsuit involving Ronald Ford Jr., the owner of Camden, New Jersey-based City Coffee.

In the complaint, six female City Coffee employees claimed that Ford had subjected them to a sexually hostile work environment that included lewd comments, unwanted touching, invitations to pose for photographs nude or in revealing attire, and requests for sexual favors.

One of the employees was also allegedly fired by Ford in retaliation after she complained about the alleged sexual harassment.
