Dr. Medhat Michael, a doctor based in Edmond, Oklahoma, has surrendered his medical license pending the outcome of investigations into allegations that he subjected several current and former female employees at Best Care Medical Center to sexual harassment.
In late 2011, Dr. Medhat Michael was arrested after police issued a warrant for his arrest on four counts of sexual battery. Two of his employees had called the police to complain that Michael created a sexually hostile work environment by making sexual remarks to the women, giving them unwanted hugs and touching them inappropriately, and trying to kiss them.
A total of six female employees have complained to the police about being subjected to sexual harassment by Dr. Medhat Michael.
