Wendy’s franchisee $41,500 EEOC disability discrimination lawsuit settlement

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has announced that Wendy’s franchisee CTW L.L.C. has agreed to pay $41,500 to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit.

According to the EEOC, the Wendy’s franchisee unlawfully refused to hire a hearing-impaired job candidate at a Killeen, Texas Wendy’s restaurant because of his disability.
