The town of Kittery has agreed to pay former police department secretary Christiane McAllister $75,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit that she filed against the town.
McAllister claimed that she was sexually harassed by Lt. Russell French and then fired in retaliation by former Town Manager Jonathan Carter when she complained about the alleged harassment.
Maine attorney James Clifford represented McAllister in her sexual harassment lawsuit against the town of Kittery.
