Cornelius Police Department hostile work environment and corruption allegations

Four Cornelius Police Department officers wrote a letter to city leaders accusing Chief Paul Rubenstein and Assistant Chief Joe Noffsinger of corruption, misconduct, and a hostile work environment.

The city of Cornelius announced that it will investigate the allegations described by Sgt. Shawn Watts and officers Doug Schuetz, Mark Jansen, and Miguel Monico.
