Barrow County employee Sophia A. Russell has filed a race and sex discrimination lawsuit against the Barrow County Commission.
Russell claims that Commission Chairman Danny Yearwood created a hostile work environment for African-American and female employees.
According to the complaint, Yearwood used racial slurs to refer to African-Amercans including Russell. Russell also claims that a manager told her that Yearwood had issues with women and black people.
