University of Texas $400,000 sexual harassment lawsuit

The University of Texas has agreed to pay $400,000 to Rachel Arena, an athletics department administrative assistant, to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit that she filed against the university.

Arena alleged that Cleve Bryant, the former Associate Athletics Director for Football Operations for the Texas Longhorns, sexually harassed her. According to the “Outside the Lines” show, Bryant was fired after a university investigator determined that he “did sexually harass” Arena and that “the harassment was likely both verbal and physical.”

California attorney Gloria Allred from the law firm Allred, Maroko & Goldberg represented Arena in her sexual harassment lawsuit against the University of Texas.
