New York City agreed to pay $750,000 to Human Resources Administration employee Sandra Glaves-Morgan to settle a race discrimination and retaliation lawsuit that she filed against the city.
Glaves-Morgan had claimed that the HRA commissioner, Robert Doar and others had demoted her, cut her salary, and reassigned her duties to less qualified white men and women.
New York attorney Samuel O. Maduegbuna from the law firm Maduegbuna Cooper LLP represented Glaves-Morgan in her race discrimination and retaliation lawsuit against New York City.
