El Camino College agreed to pay $750,000 to administrative assistant Linda Olsen to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit that she filed against the college.
Olsen claimed that she was sexually harassed by James Schwartz, a former vice president and dean at El Camino College. Schwartz allegedly groped, touched, and kissed Olsen, and the former dean also allegedly demanded sex and threatened to punish Olsen with negative job evaluations and termination if she refused to have sex with him.
The settlement came about 14 months after another former secretary was awarded $2.5 million in a sexual harassment lawsuit against Schwartz.
Rancho Cucamonga, California attorney David P. Myers represented Olsen in her sexual harassment lawsuit against El Camino College.
