Birmingham Library $150,000 sexually hostile work environment lawsuit

The City of Birmingham has agreed to pay former librarian Barbara Ann Wilson $150,000 to settle a hostile work environment lawsuit that she filed against the city.

Wilson claimed that she was subjected to a hostile work environment that included some visitors openly viewing pornography on library computers, groping her, and performing lewd acts in front of library employees or other visitors.

Alabama attorney Adam Morel represented Wilson in her lawsuit against the City of Birmingham.
