A federal jury awarded $465,000 to Abas Idris in a hostile work environment lawsuit that he filed against his employer, Andrews International.

Idris claimed that he was subjected to workplace harassment because of his African Muslim heritage. For example, Idris claims that Andrews regional director Tom Dinnauer described him as “a rat with an agenda.”

California attorney Angela Alioto represented Idris in his harassment lawsuit against Andrews International.
