Kids R Us sued by EEOC for pregnancy discrimination

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a pregnancy discrimination and retaliation lawsuit against Oklahoma-based Kids R Us.

According to the EEOC, Kids R Us discriminated against and demoted Shawna Capps after learning that she was pregnant.

After Dana Finley and Melissa Capps, relatives of Capps who also worked at Kids R Us, complained to the owners about Shawna Capps’ demotion, they were fired without given any reason.
