EEOC sues Magnetics International for religious discrimination

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a lawsuit against Magnetics International, Inc. for allegedly firing an employee at its Burn Harbor, Indiana facility because of his religion.

Daniel Bewley claims that he notified Magnetics about his inability to work on Sundays because of his religious practices.  Instead of offering Bewley a reasonable accomodation, Magnetics fired Bewley.
