Hussey Copper pays to settle EEOC discrimination lawsuit

Hussey Copper, a major copper parts manufacturing company, has agreed to pay $85,000 to settle an EEOC disability discrimination lawsuit.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claimed that the Leetsdale, Pennsylvania-based company unlawfully rescinded a job offer that Hussey Copper had made to Donald Teaford when the company discovered Teaford’s disability.
