University of Kentucky will pay $125,000 to settle astronomy professor’s religious discrimination lawsuit

Astronomy professor Martin Gaskell has agreed to settle a religious discrimination lawsuit that he had filed against the University of Kentucky.  As part of the settlment, the University of Kentucky will pay Gaskell $125,000.

Gaskell claimed that he was denied a job at the University of Kentucky becuase of his religious beliefs.
