Former Moosic police officer files age discrimination lawsuit

Edward Dubiac, a former part-time officer with the Moosic Police Department, filed an age discrimination lawsuit against the borough.

Dubiac, 55, claims that he was passed over three times for full-time jobs because of his age.  In his complaint, Dubiac claims that Police Chief Charles Maurer “stated that he would rather have young people hired.”
