Jamaal Mayberry, an African-American police officer, has filed a race discrimination lawsuit against the Sandy Springs Police Department.
According to the complaint, Mayberry “was subjected to a hostile work environment based on his race by his fellow police officers. Specifically, the Plaintiff was present when racial slurs were utilized at work, and extreme reactions from his supervisors to incidents to which the Plaintiff may have been involved.”
