A federal jury found that four Erie County Water Authority officials, John Kuryak, James Lisinski, Gary Bluman, and Robert Mendez, violated a former employee’s civil rights.
Scott Matusick claims that he was subjected to a hostile work environment by Kuryak, Lisinski, and Bluman, and that he was unlawfully terminated for dating and then marrying a black woman.
The jury awarded Matusick $324,775.
