Complaints about sexual harassment at Water and Wastewater Services, a division of Broward’s Public Works Department, led to an internal investigation which uncovered a hostile work environment.
The investigation’s report said, “The work environment at WWS is permeated with managers, supervisors and their subordinates engaging in inappropriate behavior and language of a sexual nature.”
The report found that Curtis Preece, Clive Haynes, Ralph Aliseo, and Persad Bissessar were observed engaging in “inappropriate behavior of a sexual nature.” Preece, Aliseo, and Bissessar were suspended for a week.
