Old EEOC discrimination lawsuit brought up in Colorado Senate race

In the Colorado race for the U.S. Senate seat, Sen. Michael Bennet brought up an old EEOC discrimination case that was filed against Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck in 1999.

According to the Denver Post, “A now-Denver lawyer who worked for Buck and former U.S. Attorney Henry Solano settled an EEOC-related discrimination case in the late 1990s after alleging the two ganged up on her at the U.S. Attorney’s Office because of her age and her religion.”

The case, filed by Martha Eskesen, was settled for an undisclosed amount.
