Montrose District Attorney Myrl Serra charged with sexual harassment and additional sex crimes

The Colorado Attorney General’s Office released documents that verified that Montrose County District Attorney Myrl Serra has been charged with sexual harassment, indecent exposure, unlawful sexual conduct, criminal extortion, unlawful sexual contact without consent and with force or threat, and first-degree official misconduct.

According to KMGH Denver:

One of the documents claims Serra unzipped his pants and exposed himself to an employee who asked to be let off early one day. The documents allege he told her “she could do him a favor and he would do her a favor.” The woman told investigators Serra grabbed her wrist and forced her to touch his penis.

The woman told investigators that Serra knew she was married but demanded that she provide him sexual favors at least 25 times since November 2007. The favors included being forced to masturbate Serra in his office in Montrose.
