Sexual harassment complaints lead to termination of WV Regional Jail Authority executive director

Terry Miller, the executive director of the West Virginia Regional Jail Authority, was fired last Wednesday during an emergency meeting of the authority heads.

According to the Charleston Gazette, “Miller had been on administrative leave since Sept. 16, after two female employees in the jail authority’s central office filed sexual harassment complaints against him. One of the complainants was Miller’s former personal secretary.”

The harassment included alleged unwanted sexual advances, and the women claim that they were retailated against after they rejected Miller’s advances.
