Falmouth town manager may face dismissal

Falmouth Town Manager Robert Whritenour might be removed in an upcoming town board meeting next week.

According to the Cape Cod Times, Whritenour “was nearly placed on administrative leave by the selectmen for being accused of sexual harassment in a Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination complaint and was accused of inappropriately disseminating a constable candidate’s sealed criminal history. The town manager also has been criticized by selectmen for dating a town employee.”

The MCAD complaint against Whritenour was later dismissed.
