Does Tribune board want CEO Randy Michaels to resign?

Two weeks after the New York Times published a report on what some employees described as a hostile work environment at Tribune Company, the NY Times is now reporting that the Tribune board of directors agreed “that Randy Michaels, the beleaguered chief executive, should resign soon but stopped short of immediately asking for his resignation.”

The speculation about Michaels’ future with Tribune Co. comes only a week after the company CIO, Lee Abrams, was suspended and then resigned for sending a sexually inappropriate email to employees.
