NYPD Deputy Chief Michael Gabriel accused of sexual harassment

Detective Dawn DelValle-Sanchez, 34, has hired a lawyer and plans to file a sexual harassment lawsuit against her boss, Deputy Chief Michael Gabriel, who is the head of Bronx detectives.

DelValle-Sanchez alleges that Gabriel began harassing her last December, when he asked her how much cleavage she would show at the NYPD Christmas party.  DelValle-Sanchez also claims that Gabriel tried to give her a massage last month.

Gabriel allegedly sent DelValle-Sanchez multiple text messages asking for forgiveness.  In one of the messages, Gabriel encouraged her to throw something at him or call him names as punishment for his unwanted advances.  The Deputy Chief wrote, “I will accept any penalty; hard labor, probation, a time out.”
