The judge ruled that Lockheed Martin should reinstate Brown to her previous position and that she should receive the salary and benefits that she lost upon being fired.
Brown filed a lawsuit against Lockheed Martin after she was forced out of her job in 2006 for reporting that her boss, Wendy Owen, a former communications president, had sent sex toys packed in a Cheez-It box to a soldier in Iraq that she was romantically involved with as part of the company’s now-defunct ‘Pen Pal’ program.
Lockheed Martin spokesman Keith Mordoff said that the company continues to believe that the claims are without merit and that it will appeal the judge’s decision.
